Because the week of December 11 – 15 is the last week of school before Winter Break, excitement is bound to be high for the holidays. A great way to channel this energy is by going to the basketball games this week, which ASB is dubbing Boys and Girls Basketball Week. There will be varsity and JV games throughout the week, and events with prizes will take place at the games. On Tuesday the 12th, the boys and girls team will be playing South Salem at 6:45 in the New Gym. The theme for the Tuesday game is “holiday,” so bring your festive gear and cheer on your peers! On Friday the 15th, the boys and girls teams will be playing McKay at 4:15 and 7:15 respectively in the New Gym. The theme for the Friday game is tie-dye, so wear your bright and trippy colors and support your Viking teams before the break! This week is about recognition of accomplishment and support, so let’s make this week a great send-off for our basketball teams, and have a happy holiday season!
