Here is a quick look at what some of our amazing seniors are going to be doing next year, and what they are most looking forward to (and of course, each senior also gave one piece of advice)!


 

Natalia Bermejo-Gonzalez

  • Post high school plans: Attend Portland State University and PCC
  • What are you most excited about regarding your post high school plans? “Build[ing] my art skills and making connections.”
  • What was your favorite class you took while at FGHS? AP Studio Art
  • What was your favorite event/club/activity/sport you were involved in during your time at FGHS? Cross Country
  • Give one piece of advice to upcoming seniors: “Make connections with teachers and don’t be afraid to try something new.”

Sammie Ouchida

  • Post high school plans: Attend Oregon State University to study animal science
  • What are you most excited about regarding your post high school plans? “I am excited to live that college life and keep moving forward into the future.”
  • What was your favorite class you took while at FGHS? American Sign Language and AP Studio Art
  • What was your favorite event/club/activity/sport you were involved in during your time at FGHS? “I absolutely love girls lacrosse because of the game play itself but also the team who always had each other’s backs.”
  • Give one piece of advice to upcoming seniors: “Senioritis is real, don’t let it win!”

Heather Monahan

  • Post high school plans: Berklee School of Music to study songwriting
  • What are you most excited about regarding your post high school plans? “Spending so much time playing music.”
  • What was your favorite class you took while at FGHS? “Exploring Culture and Identity because it was a really friendly classroom dedicated to learning about other people’s cultures.”
  • What was your favorite event/club/activity/sport you were involved in during your time at FGHS? Band
  • Give one piece of advice to upcoming seniors: “Don’t skip school. Take advantage of school while it’s still free. And thank your teachers.”
