Justin had always loved to use and / or play with musical equipment while singing his own original songs. While his parents had supported him throughout his career, his mother, Pattie Mallette, was the main supportive parent. Justin’s father, Jermey Bieber, was often absent in his life and rarely showed support.
Early Life Story
While Justin Bieber was growing up, at a young age he lived in Stanford, Ontario, Canada. Pattie Mallette had often had to care for and raise Bieber by himself since his father was very busy with his work. His mother had always supported Justin with everything he wanted to accomplish or do in his life, like starting and pursuing his own music career at a young age. Bieber had taught himself how to play different types of instruments like the drums, piano, guitar, and trumpet when he was four, only to improve when he grew older. Eventually, Justin was enrolled in Avon Public School, keeping him occupied and busy, giving him less time to play and teach himself music. When Bieber turned eleven, he was incredibly ecstatic to participate in a talent show his school had hosted. Bieber decided that he would join the talent show to sing one of his own songs, preparing himself to sing a new song from scratch as soon as he went home. He created his song starting from a beat, rhythm, and then lyrics as the cherry on top. After finalizing his song, he was incredibly excited, practicing until the talent show. In preparation for the show, he was off in the sidelines practicing, gradually becoming nervous until it was time for him to sing. His mother’s encouragement helped prepare Justin before the show, telling him that “it would be okay” and to “be brave.” When Bieber finally went on the stage to sing, he felt like he could do anything in the world! He was so happy and free from all the worries he had bottled up inside him, like the stage fright he used to have, his dad not being there for him, and the anxiety of his career not coming through, but all that went away when he started to sing. Career & Success
While not instant, progressively, Justin Bieber’s life had begun to change due to the popularity and traction he was gaining after posting his videos online to the internet. Bieber would receive unexpected attention through the forms of greetings and hellos from strangers in public. Justin Bieber would then meet a man by the name of Scooter Brawn, a music manager, just a few weeks after his sudden popularity. Brawn had learnt and discovered Bieber through the videos he posted online. He was ecstatic and had wanted to sign a contract with Justin Bieber to further kickstart his official music career. Scooter Brawn had then contacted Pattie to discuss the contract for Bieber and his music career; both Bieber and Pattie were ecstatic to hear the news and immediately agreed. Bieber’s mom helped prepare Bieber to travel to Atlanta, meeting Scooter and in the process, other major music producers and artists. Bieber had then officially signed a contract with RBUG Records. In 2009, Justin released his first single with that company, titled “One Time,” which became popular among teenagers around the world. After that single was released, Bieber started to prepare himself for his first live debut with a new album called My World. Once he debuted his album, Bieber became an international star almost overnight. Many of his fans admired Bieber not only for his songs and voice but for his youthful personality and relatable image.
