Mexico has been ranked as number 6 for the most traveled places for vacations. People choose to travel to Mexico for vacation because it has many beautiful towns and beaches. The most popular places in Mexico people like to visit are Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo, and Mexico City. Most tourists choose these places because they seem calm and relaxing, like a place to hide away from problems. These places are mostly beaches because people see Mexico as a place to relax and to enjoy the sun while drinking a nice, refreshing beverage by the beach. Also, a lot of attractions are typically in the more popular places like these.
Some people have only known about Mexico for their problems and their very high percentage of criminal activities. These types of problems tend to happen a lot more often than they should. Most of the stories of people going missing could be true, but kidnapping only tends to happen to those who act like they are from a higher class than they are, having a big ego, thinking that they are better than others, the ones who act like they are rich. These types of people are the ones who tend to go missing a lot in Mexico because they make other people think they have a lot of money, so their parents will pay anything to get them back, threatening them with ending their lives just so they can get more money out of them, but most of the time tourists are treated well as long as they don’t try to start anything or get into business they have no business doing or associating themselves with the possible wrong people.
Some activities many people ignore are found in the small town that they pass by, trying to get to their final destination. For example, going to the flea markets and enjoying the cultural food there, once you first enter, you get hit with the smell of quesadillas and many other variations of food. Many tourists skip the little towns and markets, trying to get as quickly as possible to the beaches or their resorts. But some people who stay in the little towns often say that it’s more fun than the big tourist places, for example, and an activity that you can watch happen is the “ baile de lo viejitos”. This attraction is a dance where young people or kids put on a mask of an old man or lady and start dancing to entertain people. Another attraction that is very cool to watch, but only happens in December and January are ‘ la fiesta de la virgen” its a tradition of honoring our mother mary and they throw big parties with fair rides and put out food stands` the most of the month you can pass by every small town and see fireworks and blow up towers made out of fire works it’s definitely a once in a lifetime experience worth doing. Also, an attraction many people skip for being too nervous or scared is the banana or the parachute. The banana is a raft that’s attached to a jet ski that takes you around the ocean where you have to hold on tight to make sure you don’t fall and the parachute is when they attach the parachute to a jetski and they take you around the ocean while your up i the air over all I strongly believe people should at least experience these attractions once in their life time or go to mexico to any part in general.
