Your alarm rings, you get up, get dressed, you eat (or you don’t), then you begin to make your way to school, now you are at school and you’re going to be for the next 6-8 hours. Does this sound familiar? If you go to school, then it probably does. Lots of people go to school, they go through the scenario above, Monday through Friday. It’s just a part of their lives, but some of these people don’t like it, and there are many reasons as to why.

One of the main reasons people don’t like coming to school is because they may have a bullying problem they’re scared to speak out about, or there is someone at school that they are having problems with. Whatever it may be, online school would fix that. You would never have to worry about running into the person who is constantly being mean to you because you’d never have to go to school. Kids would be safe, and would no longer have to fear going to school.

If you have an involved parent/guardian, the kind that want to know exactly what it is you are learning/doing in school then online school would be perfect for them. The reason is that if you were to do online school, you’d most likely be working at home. If you were to work at home your parent/guardian would be there with you knowing what you are doing and learning. So instead of having to come home from a long, exhausting day of school and struggling to explain to your parents what Linear Equations are, they can look over your shoulder every while and see what your learning online.

Another reason that online school is really helpful, is it’s extremely flexible with it comes to time. Say, you are going on a vacation trip with your family in the middle of the school year. In traditional school that would mean you missing lots of school work, tests, and any new subjects. You’d miss so much that by the time you got back, it would be a big hassle and it would take you weeks to be all caught up. If you had online school, this wouldn’t be a problem because you would be able to do your work wherever you go. This would mean you wouldn’t have to stress over any work once your vacation ends.

In conclusion, there are lots of reasons why it would be a great idea to try online school. But there are many reasons why some don’t. For example, some people don’t do online school because they want to stay close to their friends. Another reason might be because online school might cost too much since it they might require purchasing textbooks and other materials. Because of these reasons, and many more, people don’t like the idea of online school. The traditional way is super common and people have been doing it for years, but with all the technological advancements that are being created it would make sense to do online school in the future.
