A new and upcoming American superhero film called Ant-Man and the wasp: Quantumania is coming out next year. The film is based on the marvel comics and it is intended to be a sequel to Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is going to be directed by Peyton Reed and followed by a screenplay by Jeff Loveness. The initial release date was said to be in 2022 but with the impact of the pandemic, the release date was changed several times and they had even later switched dates with marvel due to the fact Quantumania was further ahead in production. They did all these changes before finally making the release date on  February 17, 2023.

The film will kick off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is also said to be an overlooked cornerstone that led to the time-travel events of Avengers: Endgame. Quantumania is set to create another ripple effect for this next phase. With the multiverse taking center stage after Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it seems more than fitting for Quantumania to set things into motion for Phase 5.

The plot for Ant-Man and the wasp: Quantumania is that superhero parents Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. They also find themselves battling against the evil time traveler Kang the Conqueror.

The actors that are going to be starring in this film will be, Paul Rudd returns as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, as well as Evangeline Lilly returning as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp. Michael Douglass and Michelle Pfeiffer will return as Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne. It has also been confirmed that Randall Park is going to be returning Jimmy Woo. Bill Murray will also be in the movie with his presence being confirmed in the trailers. Katheryn Newton as Cassie Lang, who had been previously played by Abby Ryder Forston in the previous two films. And finally, Jonathan Majors will be playing the next major villain for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kang the Conqueror.

The official trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantimania, has officially been released on October 24, 2022. The trailer gave the internet the first look at Scott Lang, Hope Van, and everyone else must navigate their way home in the Quantum realm. The trailer also gives fans a look at Kang the Conqueror plates by Jonathan Majors. Toward the end of the trailer, viewers can notice actor Bill Murray, a rather odd choice for inclusion in the trailer since there have been many allegations of misconduct against him.

And that’s the end for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania movie information. This movie seems like it is going to start phase five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe well. I think this is going to be a really good movie and I can’t wait for it to drop on February 17, 2023.
