Fall Musical: High School Musical

Jessica Brewer, Writer

Get ready to tap into childhood memories, because this year’s musical is High School Musical. All of the singing and dancing wrapped up into one performance that will leave you wanting to sing along.

This upbeat story starts with Troy, played by Hyrum Hansen, a basketball player for East Side High School. When he meets a transfer student named Gabriella, played by Hannah Berdahl, they decide to try out for the school musical together. Troy begins to consider that he likes singing and the musical over playing basketball. Meanwhile, other demands conflict with his ability to continue with the musical. Will he drop out of the performance or will Gabriella help him “soar with his dreams”? The thrilling conclusion will only be known if you “get your head in the game” and come see your colleagues in High School Musical!

The performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, on November 10, 11,12 and 17, 18, 19 in the Auditorium at FGHS. Tickets for adults are $9, and tickets for students and seniors are $7.
