The Forest Grove Vikettes have had a wonderful dance season. They had many competitive dances and throughout the season brought home four trophies. They finished their successful season at state on March 17th.

The state competition was a huge success, and according to their coach Erika Myrick, the team “performed absolutely beautifully…” Their performance beat all of her expectations, and she says,  “I could not have asked for a cleaner, better performance from them.” She is also very proud of how her team has performed all season and says, “if there is anything this team is good at, it is overcoming obstacles and still giving it their all.”
To add to the success of the team, senior Tommie-Ann Draper made the OSAA all-state dance team. She is only the second girl to make the all-state team for the past 13 years. Coach Myrick is very optimistic and excited for next season and she, “cannot wait to see what the next season will do for the Vikettes!”
