The Marvels is a new and upcoming superhero movie. It’s based on the marvel comics and will also be a new addition to phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is said to be a sequel to Captain Marvel and a continuation of the Disney plus series Ms. Marvel. The film is directed by Nia Dacosta and has a fantastic cast. Marvel has confirmed that The Marvels will be released in theaters on July 28, 2023. We will see many characters we know such as Brie Larson who plays Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel who is playing the same role she played in Avengers Endgame and Iman Villani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. The film will also star WandaVisions, Teyonah Parris who replays her role as Monica Rambeau. We also see Samuel L. Jackson who plays Fury. Ben Mendelsohn will be back as Skrull Talos, as well as Martin Freeman who plays Everett K. Ross. Other additions to this film include Kingsley Ben-Adir, Olivia Colman, and Emilia Clarke. Zawe Ashton has also been cast in the movie as a villain, but we still don’t really know who she’s going to be playing. Park Seo-Joon has also been confirmed to be in the movie, with his role as Yan D’Aladna.

A little insight into who The Marvels are for those who don’t know is that they’re 3 of Marvel’s major comic superheroes. They are a trio of women who each have superpowers, with them being Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel. Captain Marvel’s backstory is that she was a former Air Force pilot who pursued her dream of space exploration as a NASA employee, but then her life changed forever once she was exposed to the cosmic energy of the Tesseract when a light-speed engine test went wrong, where she then transformed into Human-Kree hybrid via blood transfusion. Monica Rambeau’s backstory is that she was the daughter of Marie Rambeau who were friends with Captain Marvel. Monica then later befriended her during her childhood. Later on, she worked as a lieutenant in the New Orleans harbor control, where she was operating as a cargo ship captain. While she was trying to stop a dangerous weapon, Monica was exposed to extra-dimensional energy, where she then became able to convert her body to energy. Ms. Marvel’s backstory is that she is a Pakistani-American teenager from New Jersey. She then possesses latent Inhuman lineage activated by the Terrigen Bomb. Once she was exposed to the Terrigen mist she became a polymorph, with the ability to stretch her body. The plot for The Marvels follows the epilogue of Ms. Marvel, fans got a glimpse of what may come ahead in The Marvels. During the post-credit scene of Ms. Marvel, Kamala switches places with Captain Marvel, which shows how she’s unable to control her powers. However, in the post-credit scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home and Wanda Vision post-credit scene ties into Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau. Based on these events and information, the trio apparently switches locations whenever they lose control of their powers and they must work together to figure out and deal with the consequences. This kind of gives us an idea of what The Marvels is going to be all about. That’s it for The Marvels Movie Information. This movie seems like it’s going to be a great addition to phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This movie looks like it’s going to be great with all the cast members as well as the plot.
