Stray Kids is a K-Pop band from South Korea. There are 8 members, ranging in age from 19 to 23. They became a group from the T.V show “Stray Kids”. It was a survival T.V show with many people who competed to become a new K-Pop group. They debuted in October of 2017 and rose to fame quite fast. The members are Bangchan, Changbin, Minho, Han, Seugmin, Felix, I.N, and Hyunjin. 

They have 1 official album and 7 mini-albums, including their debut album. They are known for their music being very different from what people expect of Kpop. Their music is more experimental, this includes using more emotional lyrics and using beats that have been determined as odd by the industry standard. As they have continued to release music they have also changed their style as years go by. 

They are very short in comparison to other Kpop idols. Almost all of them are around the height of 5’7. The two tallest members are Hyunjin and Seugmin, who are both 5’11. The shortest member is Changbin, he is 5’6. The rest of the members are 5’7, which is pretty short compared to most average people. They have stopped growing however because they are older than 18. 

Two of the members are from Australia, they are Felix and Bangchan. Bangchan is the oldest and was born in Seoul, then moved to Sydney when he was a child. He lived there throughout most of his life and traveled back to Korea when he was on their T.V show. Felix was born in Sydney, Australia, and also grew up there. He has one older sister and one younger sister. Felix needed to be helped when learning Korean, as he grew up speaking English In Australia. So all of the members helped him along when he was trying to learn it. 

Han Jisung grew up in Korea but went to a school in Malaysia. He is the third-best versed in English. The school he went to was an international school so he had to learn how to speak English, I’m not sure if he learned how to speak other languages as well. He was the first of the group chosen to officially be in Stray Kids. He, Changbin, and Bangchan formed a group before Stray Kids consisting of just them. This group was named 3RACHA, it was mostly rapping with a little singing. 

There used to be nine members of the group, but Woojin had to leave because of personal and business reasons. They are still functioning well without him, producing even more songs. All of the members are very close and consider themselves to be family. Minho has three cats, named Soongie, Doongie, and Dori. Hyunjin has a dog named Kkami. They all live together in Dorms in the JYP building, as they work for JYP entertainment. They are all very cool and I like them.
