9/11: a Shooting in NYC

On September 11th, 2001, Henry Siwak, a Polish immigrant, got off the subway at the wrong stop and at the wrong time on his way to work. When Siwak got off the train at 1 Block Albany avenue instead of a stop nearer to the supermarket he worked at, he was shot at a couple minutes before midnight.  The New York Police Department was only able to send one detective to the scene because of the attacks earlier that day, and when he got there all he was able to do was take one picture with his Polaroid camera. The NY Police Chief, Mike Prate, was very disappointed by this because if they could have sent more people they would have been able to find out more about the murder of Henry Siwak.

9/11 was one of the most horrifying days in the history of the United States when two planes crashed into the Twin Towers, and one into the Pentagon. Around 3000 people were killed in this horrible attack. This case will be very difficult to solve and may never be solved because how little information they got, and how they had no suspects or witnesses due to the number of resources and officers that were being used to save lives from the aftermath of the attacks. This is still an ongoing case that is yet to be solved.
