After five years without having a girls lacrosse team the program is back. Almost everyone who is playing this year is new to the sport, except for a few girls who have played in the boys’ program the past couple of years. Having so many new people come out to play has made the season fun, no doubt, but games so far have functioned mainly as learning experiences. One thing that came with having a girls team this year was that we got lines painted on the turf for both the boys and girls programs, something the boys didn’t have in years past. So far we haven’t won any of our games, but we still have plenty more games to play. Come out to support us at our next home game on Monday, April 10th, at 6:30 PM on the turf.
