This year has been a little bit different than the past few for the Forest Grove Girls’ soccer program. For one, there’s a new head coach working with the varsity squad (he was JV’s coach last year), and this year there are only two teams, rather than three. The season got off to a bit of a rocky start, for both teams, however varsity has been picking up momentum and tied their first regular season game in a 0-0 shutout. With an abundance of underclassmen as well as a number of veteran players, the season is looking up for the girls’ varsity team. Come out and support your Viks at their home games this season! We take McMinnville on at home on Wednesday, October 12th, with JV playing at 5:00 PM and Varsity at 7:00.
