The responsibility of driving is something that should be taken seriously. Many teenagers don’t take driving seriously because they decide to race  or even go out with friends late at night without parent permission. Driving shouldn’t be used as a way to escape from home it should be used for driving to school, going to your job or in the need of an emergency. Driving a car comes with a lot of responsibility due to the fact that you might get into a car accident if you’re not paying attention to the road. Also the usage of drugs and alcohol can affect the lives of many, including your own.

Being able to drive is a privilege because some people can’t drive and have to take the bus everywhere which is really time consuming. When driving, people should be responsible because not only is your life in danger if you’re not paying attention on the road but you’re putting the life of the passengers and the other drivers in danger as well. Be cautious while driving. Look out for pedestrians crossing the road, and always be alert when driving because you never know when the other drivers might not be paying attention and hit your car. Many lives have been lost because of driving and some have been damaged. You run many risks when it comes to driving because if you get into a car accident then that can either kill you, paralyze you, or cause brain damage.

Driving can be fun when you’re with friends, especially when you have car rides together. But, that could also be a problem because it may be a distraction and put everybody’s life at risk. There may be times when you might get bored and might feel tempted to go drive around but that can also be dangerous for you depending where you may go. Driving is a good skill to have because it can be really help someone when they need a ride to work or anywhere else. Driving can also give you some sense of independence and that can be great for people because driving is useful and  it makes you rely on yourself and no one else to drive you places.

Having the ability to drive  to school or a job is a good thing because it makes you look reliable since you have a way of getting there.  It’s amazing to be able to drive and when you’re behind the wheel you have to be in a good state of mind, meaning you can’t be under the influence of alcohol or on drugs because that can send you to jail for possession of drugs. To make matters even worse, you’d be putting every driver’s life on the line. Be responsible while driving, have fun driving and enjoy driving but don’t put everybody’s life on the line because of one bad decision. Vehicles are a  great tool but it can also take lives and that always affects how you view yourself and how others view you. Be safe, be cautious and be a good driver that everyone can feel safe with.
