Kavanaugh was recently elected as a Supreme Court Judge and not long after, the Supreme Court Associate says “Kavanaugh must be impeached”. The reason for many saying that Kavanaugh should be impeached is that he has been accused of sexual misconduct. This allegedly took place at a college party when he and many others had gotten drunk that night according to an article at Fox News.                          

Many of the Democratic candidates for the 2020 election agree for Kavanaugh to be impeached due to these new allegations. These candidates include Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Beto O’Rourke, Cory Booker and Julian Castro says Fox News. But not all are agreeing with the fact he should be looked into for impeachment. Such as President Trump, who says, “He is an innocent man who has been treated Horribly. Such lies about him.” We have two sides, both feeling strongly about how things should go down with these new allegations against Kavanaugh. 

One of the women that were victimized from Kavanaugh’s actions “denied any knowledge” of the alleged episode. Max Stier is also a supposed victim to Kavanaugh’s act of sexual misconduct also denies and recollection of the alleged event says Fox News. Some also believe that the allegations should be dropped on Kavanaugh and put onto his friends. Some say this because at this college party when Kavanaugh and others were drunk that it was his friends the physically made Kavanaugh do what he did and McCormack believes the same thing according to a Fox News article. Even though most are saying that Kavanaugh should be tried for these new accusations, a few really believe that it should be the others that were involved with the making of this accident. What do you think about this situation? Should Kavanaugh or his friends have the allegations put on them?

 “Impeaching Kavanaugh would require a majority vote in the Democratic-controlled House, and a highly unlikely two-thirds vote in the GOP-majority Senate would then be needed to remove him from the bench,” said Fox News. According to that, it seems that there might be a likely chance that if they decide to take a vote on the impeachment of Kavanaugh, it could be quite likely that Kavanaugh could be impeached.

None of this is looking too good for him. Although he has a few people who think he should not be seeing any allegations towards him whether it’s because they believe it’s not his fault or that he is being treated unfair,  there are many more that think he should get in trouble and considered for impeachment. This is a big deal for him and could end his political career if the allegations get charged against him. For a big politician like him, if he happens to get charged with sentences for these allegations then it could be really hard for him to find his way back in these fields.
