Smoothie Bowl

A smoothie bowl… yum, sounds delicious am I  right? You might just think of a smoothie bowl as being some fruit smoothie being put in a bowl. But it’s way more than just a smoothie. First, you start your smoothie with two mugfuls of a liquibase. This can be milk, or a dairy-free alternative such as soy or almond milk, (un)flavored yogurt, fruit juice, or for a tropical flavored smoothie, low-fat coconut milk or coconut water. This tasty concoction is made with several different fruits like strawberries, bananas, grapes, and mango. You have endless varieties of fruit that you can mix into your smoothie bowl. Some people will add vegetables, which will help to control blood sugar levels and keep you feeling full for longer. Vegetables also add vitamins and minerals to your smoothies. These bowls (if made properly) can be a good source of fiber and protein. The smoothie has healthy fats and carbohydrates to start your day or help you refuel after a workout. But they can quickly turn into high-calorie sugar bombs if you’re not careful. Compared to the smoothies you’re used to sipping with a straw, the base of a smoothie bowl has a slightly thicker, almost ice-cream like consistency. The straw will no longer limit you from how thick you want your smoothie. You can top it with berries, granola, nuts or muesli, But do a tablespoon each so you can calculate your income of calories easier. Adding toppings like fruit and other foods make your smoothie bowl more appealing and satisfying to look at, this is why you see the smoothie bowl on Instagram. If the smoothie bowl still doesn’t sound good then this might change your mind. The smoothie will give you increased energy, it will also make your bones stronger, its heart healthy, and you will consume those vegetables without evening knowing it! All of this and it tastes like an amazing tropical dessert! So go ahead, get yourself some greens, fruits, and all sorts of stuff to make your own smoothie bowl!
