Hello again! In this edition, I will be telling you about some simple spells to do with ingredients in your pantry. Some easy spell jars that you can make are luck and protection. So first you’ll want to grab a jar to put the stuff in. For the protection jar, you’re going to get salt, bay leaves, burnt sage, and mint. Put it in the jar with good intentions. To set good intentions, try thinking positive thoughts while casting spells, then seal it with wax. Repeat that with the next jars but use different herbs as not all herbs have the same properties.
WHERE TO FIND HERBS
You can find herbs anywhere except if they are only native to a different country. However, if you do want to find herbs I recommend looking in forests or abandoned places.
FINDING FLOWERS USED IN WITCHCRAFT
Flowers have been used in witchcraft forever. There is folklore surrounding different types of flowers. I would recommend getting a flower encyclopedia or you can google what they look like and go searching with a buddy or by yourself.
AFFORDABLE SUPPLIES
The following can be found at any dollar store near you: Salt, pepper, paprika, chives, parsley, oregano, cinnamon, bottles with corks, spray bottles, dropper bottles, jars, candles, essential oils, and rocks can be found anywhere.
NOT RECOMMENDED
Incense from the dollar tree is low quality, so maybe think twice before buying them. Do not buy anything that gives off a weird vibe because it could have negative energy. Don’t buy crystals if they feel like plastic or if they are super clear. The reason for this is they might be fake. If you do want to buy crystals go to a crystal shop, Amazon, or any souvenir shop around the world to get real ones.
CRYSTALS
Some crystals that can be used in witchcraft are amethyst, pearl, garnet, and rose quartz. Amethyst in magick helps with sleep, calming, and protection. Pearl in magick helps with clarity, intuition, and understanding. Garnet in magick helps with protection, grounding, and energy. Rose quartz helps with self-love, love in general, as well as gentleness.
I hope you enjoyed my articles informing you on the basics of witchcraft. If you did and wish to read more, please check out Olivia Smith to keep up with my work, as I may be moving soon. There are also many resources on the internet, just look for the right ones. I would recommend looking for sources that say witchcraft or types of witchcraft to see which ones you feel more intrigued with. Then you can learn more about that type of magick
Then you can learn enough about it to hopefully be a good witch and not mess up any wards or spells.
