I’m not one to take much of a liking to balloons, however, artist Masayoshi may be able to change that with his skill in balloon art. Masayoshi is a Japanese artist who’s practiced this unusual type of art for 10 years, and the result of his work shows exactly that. His inspiration is drawn from wildlife, and it has lead him towards making realistic balloon sculptures.

Each piece of art is said to take 2 to 6 hours to finish, but it leaves many satisfied with the end result. Masayoshi and his work can be found on his social media.

You would think he would need to use markers and other things used for works of art. But all he needs are different colored balloons, and with only that, he tries to mimic the anatomy of wildlife. We’re told he started this kind of art after looking at pictures of wildlife, after that, he wanted to see if he could copy them with balloons. The self-taught artist now has a fine amount of people who enjoy his works.

There are many who compare his art to origami, and you can see why. Masayoshi and his preferred style of art is something we don’t see every day. Though there are many who participate in many kinds of art, his are somewhat rare to find.

Before Masayoshi begins a new piece, he starts planning a careful design for his work. After finishing the design, he spends most of his time twisting and blowing balloons. It’s obviously a long process, but it is definitely worth it.

Searching his name you’ll see many birds, snakes, insects, goats, and even references from shows. There’s not much known about Masayoshi other than being an amazingly talented artist. But even so, it does not take away the support he gets from those who love his art. From not knowing a thing to being a master of balloons, his progress really shows how much a person can learn.

He is still active, and many are still waiting for more of his works.
