In the wonderful world of Genshin Impact, each playable character has a vision, a device allowing them to harness different elemental powers. Geo, Cryo, Anemo, Dendro, Pyro, Hydro, and Electro all represent elements such as rock, ice, wind, nature, fire, water, and lightning. But each vision does not only represent elements, but also a deeper meaning, passions, ambitions, or goals. So let’s break them down, and see which one I’d have, you can even see which one you’d have.
Geo is typically given to those who are strong, stable, and loyal. This vision is also given to those who are determined or hard-working and will do anything to achieve their goals. Many characters can be classified as hard-working, but only some receive the Geo vision due to it, while some achieve it through sheer loyalty and determination. I do not believe I’d receive this one out of all visions. I’m not very hard-working or determined as a main character trait.
Cryo is for those who have good control and endurance and are calm in chaos. It is also given to those who are at a crossroads in their lives or are torn between responsibilities and desires. I feel as if this applies to me. I feel like I’m calm under stress, but I also have trouble deciding between my own enjoyment and tasks I must complete.
Anemo, the vision of freedom, going wherever life takes you, and ultimate freedom. This vision is given to those who, in some way, desire or chase some form of freedom or have a strong ambition. This vision is a toss-up for me. I do desire freedom and tend to go with the flow, so to speak, but I do not feel it passionately; I do not feel as if I’m a caged bird, like some of these characters do.
Dendro, growth, wisdom, curiosity. This vision is given to those who either seek or possess knowledge or skills that are considered either hidden, forbidden, or simply value knowledge highly. I can see it in myself, I’m curious, and deeply appreciate knowledge, but again, not to the extreme that many characters take their levels of curiosity.
Pyro, passion, strong emotions, action-takers. This vision is given to people who are strongly passionate about something and have dedicated their lives to it. I’m very passionate, but I am not dedicated to one thing; I have many smaller passions, not one large, explosive passion. I also do not experience extremely intense emotions, I’m more mellow in my approach to life.
Hydro, healing, adaptability, flowing through life. This vision is given to people who either have a strong dedication towards something or have a desire to help or protect others. While I’d say I’m willing to help others, I don’t seek it out, nor do I see it as my purpose, so this does not apply to me.
Finally, Electro, change, rebellion, evolution. This vision is given to those who see the world differently from others and are generally considered weird or odd, or are essentially living in their own world. I think this could apply, I’m not the most normal person, I’m very unique! But some will find it weird or strange.
Out of all Teyvat’s visions, I’m likely to end up with a Cryo or Electro vision. How about yourself?
