Do you wonder what happened to the sports when the Coronavirus Pandemic Started? Today is the day to learn. Starting the coronavirus pandemic, most stores and public areas have closed for two weeks. They never said anything about soccer and sports in general. According to my sources, it says, “In California, No youth Soccer Games Since The Pandemic Started.” Some people have even driven to Arizona to be able to play games. Lots of soccer teams and sports have stopped since the beginning of the pandemic.

Since the pandemic, many countries have had a high number of losses. Another wave has just hit, and the income of more COVID-19 cases has risen every day. From sources at John Hopkins University, there have been 1,392,213 deaths globally and rising. There have also been 58,900,313 Cases globally and rising. This Virus has had an impact on many people from losses, losing jobs, losing homes, stopping schools, closing public areas, having no family reunions. It is hard for some people. Some people have sports as their stress reliever. Not having parks and sports available can take a big chunk of someone’s happiness away. According to my sources, “Dropping out of a game in mid-October, international soccer superstar Christiano Ronaldo tested positive for Covid-19. Now, Ronaldo is back and feeling great, scoring two goals in last Sunday’s Juventus 4-1 win.” Even superstars get tested positive for Covid-19. Some people are embarrassed by being positive, but there’s nothing to be afraid of. The time we live in now is almost like the flu that happened many years ago. Having no cure, people dying, almost like now. Some people are mad and outraged. “Everyone wants to know why kids in NYC can play, and kids in San Diego can’t.” Lots of people want to start, and officials don’t want to risk the rise of more cases happening. According to my sources, it also says, “Whether or not youth soccer players are allowed to play youth soccer games does not seem to make a difference in the stats.”

In the Men’s League Soccer (MLS), they have announced games that have been postponed and pushed further, and some are still in the process of being postponed. Some people have protested and have been trying to get an act to be passed for the youth to be able to continue playing in the sources it says ¨Now there is a KIDS1st movement to let kids play. “We believe the physical and mental welfare of our kids needs to be at the forefront as we battle the effects of COVID, seen and unseen. Were not her to politicize this crisis. We are here solely to give a voice to children of all ages and were asking to let the data drive the discussion.” This means that people are doing what they can to let kids continue playing.
